It can! But even the dark clouds over the lovely town at the Côte d’Azur were not able to harm the good spirit of the Cannes Lions Festival attendants. After 4 days of advertising power, that last day was for relaxation and rehabilitation. The legendary final of the festival has always been the Early Bird on the Hotel Majestic pier. Because red-eyed, tired advertisers queue for the elegant sunbeds and some even go on the water – it is said to fresh you up. Our friend Joachim (Helli) Hellinger, icon of action and sport filming invited us to this inofficial closing event, that is not to be missed. Even if you just sleep there.

SUP at its best.

We had the pleasure to enjoy once again sun and beach for our project naishSUPcenter.com. Grace to our sporty models Laura and Jana as well as the support of the Freak Surf Kouremos Crew we were able to visualize perfectly the beauty of stand-up paddling with Naish Boards. In the water and on the beach. These images set product and protagonist perfectly in scene and will be used for the web communication of the naishSUPcenters. The amazing location at the far east of Crete, great food and hospitality of the 4 Naish-SUP-Centers in Crete turned this shooting almost into a vacation. Thank you to all!

We make it fly!

The french World-Cup-Pro Julien Mas is a legend in surfing. The target group of surfers, wind surfers, kiters and stand-up-paddlers is very delicate when it comes to communication. Especially regarding selling and buying equipment. The more ambitioned the customer, the more important are visual language, vocabulary and layout of the communication platform. Julien used his insider knowledge to build the surf sell- and buy-platform and quickly became a sucessful retailer. Surfers around the world are very pleased. comqed is consultant and supporter of SurfSnB. Just recently we had the pleasure to film and take pictures of a spectacular tow-in-session. We do everything for a good result.

Together with the reknowned fashion photographer Christian Dietrich and the SRF director Caro Wloka once again we suceeded in producing the new campagin for Cembra Money Bank. Our brand ambassador Christa Rigozzi as well as a whole group of other actors, film and photographing crew and our inhouse team for graphic design, DTP, consultancy and strategy enabled an attractive campaign, that is available on- and offline. Racism, also in PET bottle recycling! In order to produce new PET-bottles from recycled bottle-plastic, which is the optimal use of recycled bottles, we need pure recycled PET material. This may only be generated if the PET-bottle collection does not contain any other material such as cups, shampoo or vinegar bottles or fruit and vegetable boxes. So not having them in the recycling bin for PET bottles is the goal of our new campaign for PET recycling Switzerland. We wanted to inform the Swiss population about the importance of “pure” recycling material. And we needed to do this in a fun and entertaining way, because the recycling community does not appreciate teaching behaviour. So in our new campaign PET bottles come to life! In an animated world Non-PET-bottles try to enter a PET-only area. When rejected the express their desire to be part of the great PET-World. The audience learns in an amusing way, that PET and Non-PET do not go along.

We went to booming Berlin to see our partner MovieBrats for the off- and online approval of our new animated PET-recycling clip. They reside in proper style in famous Kreuzberg – backyard atmosphere included. Getting there is already part of the fun! Every paddler counts.

Every Rappen too. For the second time in a row our client fanagus AG supported the SRF christmas charity with his product DADOR Dry-Suits. They were able to proove that stand-up paddling is no big deal also in winter time, if you wear the right suit. And of course they also prooved that stand-up paddlers liek to campaign for under-aged refugees.

MRBforward inspires.

Focus of the «MRB forward» event was the question, what generates excitement in our society. Swiss comedians Victor Giacobbo and Gülsha launched the first «MRB forward». The audience wanted to know from these two experienced but very different entertainers, how they inspire, surprise and cast a spell over their fans. They answered in a 40 minute talk: rapid, sharp and witty. An entertaining talk that perfectly illustrated how excitement of a speaker transmits to an audience.

Ólafur Elíasson wins Crystal Award at WEF

Congratulations Olafur! Olafur Elíasson is collaborating with our client Global Development on sustainability projects. He has a good friendship with the CEO of Global Development, Barbara Bulc. The Icelandic/Danish artist received the 22nd Annual Crystal Award for his leadership in creating and supporting inclusive communities. Hilde Schwab, co-founder of Schwab Foundation, and wife of WEF founder Klaus Schwab, honoured the global artist. His outstanding work in developing ‘Little Sun’, a solar powered LED lamp which will provide light in impoverished, off-grid areas around the world was recognised and praised. The world-famous artist and Berlin University Professor of the Arts works alongside architects, engineers, craftsmen and creative thinkers.

Sardinien Photoshooting again

Once again, thanks to Dador, we got to enjoy summer for a little longer than everyone else. Their campaign for the new 2016 shorts and suits product line was shot by photographer Guiliano Di Marco. On location in Chiara, Karol and Mirco we found 3 incredibly authentic, and conveniently attractive, watersports models. As the results show, the entire endevour went very well indeed.

The Seine from a different perspective

On the occasion of the Nautique, the largest water sports fair in Europe, the Stand-Up-Paddle VIPs meet in Paris – and some other 100 SUP fans. Our client Fanagus AG provided the Swiss Pro-team with World Champion Stefan Haldemann with the latest High tech equipment. Being the CH/A/I-importer of Top Surf-brands Naish and Starboard Fanagus offers the Formula 1 boards of SUP. Full-carbon technology for board and paddle enable the user to incredible performance. This is where it all began

With sports photographer Filip Zuan we went to the phantastic mountain area of Oberengadin to dramatize the new DADOR Climatec suits of our client Fanagus AG. In two “packed” days we were able to take incredible pictures in beautiful light setting for the new image spot as well as several pics for print usage. Thanks to Karl Müller and Karin Pfister from the DADOR team for the great planning, the riders Raphael and Stefan for the patient, but wonderful performance and Filip Zuan for the amazing pictures.

Our fresh and attention-grabbing campaign (as described by our client AMAG) won the pitch! comqed enters the automotive market with ‘Das WeltAuto’, Volkswagen’s worldwide used car division.
